OMAC Martial Arts is one of Ontario's leading Taekwondo schools, offering programs for children, teens, adults, after-school care, seasonal camps, and leadership development. Our mission is to help students build confidence, discipline, respect, resilience, and lifelong healthy habits through martial arts training.

No. Most of our students begin with no previous experience. Our instructors guide beginners step-by-step in a welcoming, supportive environment.

OMAC Martial Arts specializes in Taekwondo, a Korean martial art that develops confidence, discipline, respect, fitness, and practical self-defence skills. Kids Martial Arts

Children can begin in our Tiny Tigers program at age 4. We also offer programs for children (6–12), teens, and adults.

Yes. Safety is our highest priority. Classes are supervised by certified instructors, and students learn in a structured, positive environment using age-appropriate techniques.

Absolutely. Confidence is one of the biggest benefits parents notice. Students develop self-esteem by setting goals, overcoming challenges, and celebrating achievements.

Yes. We teach confidence, awareness, respect, conflict avoidance, and self-defence skills. Our goal is to empower students to handle difficult situations safely and responsibly.

Many parents report improvements in focus, listening skills, self-control, and discipline through consistent martial arts training. Every child is different, but structured classes can be very beneficial.

Tiny Tigers (Ages 4–5)

Tiny Tigers is designed specifically for preschool-aged children. Classes focus on listening, coordination, balance, confidence, respect, and following instructions in a fun, engaging environment.

Not at all. Many shy children become more confident after just a few weeks of training. Our instructors are experienced in helping children feel comfortable.

Teen & Adult Programs

Never. Many adult students begin with no experience. Whether you're looking for fitness, stress relief, self-defence, or a new hobby, our classes are designed for all fitness levels.

Martial arts is an excellent full-body workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, strength, flexibility, and endurance while making exercise enjoyable.

No. Teen and adult classes are separate from children's programs.

Classes & Training

Most students see excellent progress by attending 2–3 classes per week, although your schedule and membership options may vary.

Wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring a water bottle. If you decide to join, we'll help you with your official OMAC uniform.

No. Training is designed for beginners, and fitness naturally improves as you continue.

Every student's journey is different. Progress depends on attendance, effort, and successful belt testing. Our instructors will guide you throughout your martial arts journey.

Belt Testing

Students are invited to test when they demonstrate the required techniques, knowledge, attitude, and consistent attendance.

No. Testing is an opportunity to measure progress and celebrate achievements, but students advance only when they are ready.

After-School Program

Our After-School Program includes school pickup (at participating schools), martial arts classes, homework time, supervised activities, games, leadership development, and structured care.

Pickup is available from participating schools near each location. Contact your nearest OMAC school to confirm availability.

Many full-time After-School memberships include PA Day camps. Please check with your local OMAC location for details.

Summer & Seasonal Camps

Campers enjoy martial arts, outdoor games, sports, field trips, crafts, leadership activities, and plenty of active fun in a safe, supervised environment.

Yes! Everyone is welcome, whether or not they are current OMAC members.

Membership

Yes! We offer a free trial so you can experience our classes before enrolling.

Parents

Yes. Parents are welcome to observe classes and celebrate their child's progress.

We communicate through email, phone, social media, newsletters, and in-person updates from our instructors.

Safety

Yes. OMAC instructors receive professional training and follow established teaching standards to provide a safe, positive learning environment.

We maintain clean facilities, structured classes, age-appropriate instruction, and strict safety guidelines for all students.
